PREVIEW OF UPCOMING WORKSHOP ISTANBUL, SCHOOL OF SCHOOLS & KKH R-LAB:

R-Lab, Marvels and Catastrophes from October 14 to 19  is running a workshop on the “Art of Disaster” bringing RIA students together with local students and invited participants to develop a makers approach to the subject. Using a child’s do-it-yourself science project about Volcanos as an allegory on just how deeply disasters are imbedded in everything including childhood culture, we intend to create a number of physical objects and artefacts along a range of themes, including fortune amulets, talismans, scientific instruments, seismographs, automatons, gaming strategy kits, game boards, and survival kits. There is a limited number of seats for the workshop available, please sign in by September 21.
